Kaatib App — Your Smart Arabic Writing Assistant

1. Introduction
At MoApps Studio, we place the utmost importance on your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Kaatib app.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account Information:
- Email address (for authentication)
- Name (optional via Apple Sign-In)
- Password (securely processed and stored by Supabase Auth and not visible to the developer)
B. Writing Content:
- Texts you write and submit for processing
- Saved Works: When you save a work (input text + generated output), it is stored locally and in your cloud account (Supabase) to sync across your devices. You can delete your works at any time from within the app, and they will be removed from our servers according to our retention policy
C. Official Letter Data:
- Full name, ID number, and phone number are stored locally on your device (SharedPreferences) to auto-fill letters
- When you choose to generate a letter, the request content and the data needed to produce it are sent to the AI provider (Anthropic) after your explicit consent, as described in Section 4
D. Digital Stamps and Signatures:
- Stamp and signature images are stored locally and automatically synced to your Supabase account when you are signed in and online. They are transferred over HTTPS and protected by account-scoped access policies
E. Technical Information:
- Device type, operating system, and language settings
- Tool usage and rewarded-ad counts to enforce daily limits and prevent abuse
- Google AdMob may collect IP address (to estimate approximate location), ad interactions, diagnostics, and device or advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention
- RevenueCat collects purchase history and the app account identifier to provide and verify subscriptions
3. How We Use Your Information
- Providing smart writing services
- Saving your works and syncing them across your devices
- Generating requested results and improving service reliability and performance
- Communicating with you regarding your account or updates
- Preventing fraud and ensuring security
4. Artificial Intelligence
Kaatib uses Claude AI by Anthropic technology to process texts. When you submit a text:
- The text is sent to Anthropic's servers in encrypted form (HTTPS)
- The text is not used to train AI models
- The text is deleted from Anthropic's servers after processing
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with:
- Supabase: Authentication and storage of account data, works, stamps, and usage records
- Anthropic: AI text processing
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
- Apple/Google: Payment through app stores
- Google AdMob: Advertisements (free version only)
6. Advertisements (Free Version)
The free version uses Google AdMob. Ads may use an advertising identifier according to your device settings and the privacy choices available on the platform. Kaatib Pro and Kaatib Pro Plus subscribers do not see advertisements.
7. Data Protection
- HTTPS encryption for all communications
- Password and session management through Supabase Auth
- Code Obfuscation for code protection
- Row Level Security in the database
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct or delete your data
- Export your saved works
- Delete your account entirely
- Withdraw consent for data processing
You can delete your account in the app or follow the account and data deletion instructions. For other privacy requests, contact myappdv@gmail.com.
9. Children
Kaatib is not intended for children under the age of 13. If we discover that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.
10. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. After account deletion or approval of a deletion request, account-linked data is deleted within 30 days. Limited transaction records may be retained when required by law or app-store obligations.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or by email.
